LaTex2HTML

LaTex2HTML works on slapper. There is a manual in the lab. The following is a quick reference for doing latex to HTML conversions and installing the result on the www.

  1. Write the LaTeX document
  2. Include ``html'' in the optional arguments to \documntstyle (but put it at the end, after prabib. It doesn't work otherwise for some reason)
  3. Include any other links you desire using \htmladdnormallink{highlighted anchor here}{URL here}. There are some other useful \html... extensions, see the LaTeX2HTML manual.
  4. Latex the file twice to produce all of the auxilliary files, with correct cross-referencing and to generate a paper output.
  5. run LaTeX2HTML on the file, e.g., latex2html filename This will create a subdirectory with the name of the file (minus extension).
  6. Details such as the size of images of embedded math and the size of images of embedded figures can be tweaked by redefining default variables in an initialization file .latex2html-init in your login directory. See manual for details.
