Constructive and destructive interference of sound waves (17.2)
To find the resultant wave, add up the amplitudes at a given place and time
Constructive interference: If two waves are in phase the resultant amplitude is larger than each individual amplitude.
Destructive interference: If two waves are in exactly out of phase the resultant amplitude is zero.
