In the bookstores	Physics - Sakurai Advanced Quantum Mechanics This is to my mind still the best books around - the most physical treatment of both Dirac theory and field theory Weinberg The Quantum Theory of Fields v1 Ziman Elements of Advanced Quantum Theory a very readable account of Dirac theory and second quantization toward a many-body solid state perspective Tung Group Theory in Physics probably the best modern book on group theory from our own WuKi Tung a unique and sensible Dirac notation for linear algebra History, interpretation - Schweber QED and the Men Who Made It theoretical physicist turned historian...a very good account of the early years of quantum field theory, up to Feynman's approach.
