Physics 231
Homework
- There are weekly homework assignments.
The homework is computer-graded and provided on the internet. The advantage
for you in using this system is that you receive immediate feedback.
- Correct solutions (within the accuracy specified in each problem) are
immediately credited to you.
- Incorrect tries do not count against you - you may try each homework
problem as many times as you wish.
- Each problem contains help features. Some of these help features are
of a general nature and contain hyperlinks to materials that will likely
be useful for the solution of the particular problem. Some other help features
are responses to likely errors. (For example, if you simply have the sign
of the answer wrong, the computer will likely inform you of this fact.)
- Each homework assignment has a due date that is clearly displayed at
the top. You may solve each problem as early as you want. But after the
due date has expired, the solution of the problem is displayed on the screen,
and you cannot get credit for it.
- While you are logged into the class, you will be able to check a summary
of your current homework scores and future due dates by simply clicking
on the
icon in the menu bar.
