Partial credit option FAQ's

1. How do I do the partial credit option?
Do the homework assignment called Corrections in LON-CAPA.

2. Do I have to do all the problems again?
Each problem you get right on the partial credit will count towards your partial credit score, regardless of which problems you got right or wrong in the exam. So, you must do all the problems to get the full amount of extra credit available!

3. How is the partial credit determined?
Your partial credit will be determined by taking 30% of the difference between your total partial credit score and your total exam score. These points will be added to your exam score when the final grade is calculated.  Of course, your exam score will never be lowered, even if your partial credit score is less than the exam score.

4. Why doesn't my partial credit show up on my exam score?
The partial credit will be added to your exam score when the final grade is calculated at the end of the semester.

5. I had 100% in the exam. Should I do the partial credit option?
If you had 100% on the exam there is no point in doing the partial credit (unless you enjoy doing that sort of thing).

6. How can I check my partial credit score?
Same as checking your homework score but look at the homework assignments called Corrections.
