Read up to page 25 of Ortega (handout)
and also the first 20 pages of the
introduction to fortran manual(www link on the homepage).
Keep a file on your account of the FORTRAN commands which you are learning
and make a brief note of what they do. Each week you should add to this
file the new commands and procedures which you have learned. At the
end of the semester, the lab. exam will assume that you are facile
with these commands.
