Professor Huston's Grades
We had 3 hour exams worth 120 points apiece, a final worth 240 points,
160 max possible points for CAPA homework and 8 quizzes (worth 10 points apiece).
I dropped the lowest quiz, givinga total number of points of 830 (10 points less
than Prof. Pratt's section). For those with an excused absence for an exam (shown
as M), I multiplied the total quiz+test scores by a factor of 1.22 to scale up
your points.
The grading scale is shown below:
>715 points = 4.0
650-714 = 3.5
585-649 = 3.0
540-584 = 2.5
495-539 = 2.0
425-494 = 1.5
200-424 = 1.0
<200 = 0.0
The class average was 2.55, same as for Prof. Pratt's section
(by design).
