PHY 183B and 184B are online independent-study courses, equivalent in content to PHY 183 and 184. Weekly homework assignments are provided to students enrolled in the courses on the World Wide Web, through the LON-CAPA course management system. Reading assignments will be taken from the textbook Physics by Randall Knight.
PHY 233B and 234B are the "bridging courses" for students who already have credit in PHY 231 and 232 but need a calculus-based physics course for their majors. The bridging courses are also online independent-study courses with weekly online homework assignments and reading assignments.
