ISP 205: Visions of the Universe
Section 2, Fall 2005
Time: MWF; 11:30-12:20, Location: 1410 BPS
Prof. Steve Zepf
Goal: The goal of this course is to provide an
introduction to astronomy, which is the scientific study of
the Universe. This introduction will aim to show by example
how science is done, and also to show some of the beauty
of the Universe we live in.
The final will be on Monday,
December 12 from 8:00-10:00 p.m. in room B108 Wells Hall -
not our classroom!
A few new updates on Monday morning. The clicker percentage is now on
Angel. We have a few "unclaimed" clicker numbers with credit, so check
this when you can, and e-mail if you find a problem. Also, in
response to several questions, I have added a question 2a to homework
11 that hopefully will help make that clearer. Also, keep in mind
the earlier note about small updates to schedule and study guide to answer
questions brought up in the last class.
