First Assignment: Download and study the notes by Prof. Stump (the link is below). You can print the notes in the Strosacker Center (Room 1248). Or, ask the secretary Jamie in Room 1312 to make you a copy of the notes. Do problems 1 through 17 and 26 through 34 (at the end of the notes). We will meet Tuesday, May 30 at 5:00 PM in Room 1308 Biomedical and Physical Sciences Building. Hand in your written solutions at that first meeting.

Second Assignment: Read Chapter 1 of the textbook, Classical Dyunamics by Thornton and Marion. Hand in written solutions to problems 1-7, 1-9, 1-12, 1-19, 1-25, 1-26 and 1-34.

Third Assignment: Start reading Chapter 2 of the textbook, Classical Dyunamics by Thornton and Marion. Do the homework problems on LON-CAPA. (Log onto LON-CAPA at msu.loncapa.org. You should find that your are enrolled in the course. Follow the PHY 321 link to the problems.)
