Many students may find that the Fifth or Sixth edition serves their
needs as the
material and the ordering of the material is very similar. In fact,
almost any text book covering the same material (non-calculus physics)
should work well.
The bookstores might be carrying two versions of the textbook, one which
has the old-technology infrared clickers bundled at a discount, and a second
version with no clicker. On-line students, or students who already own a
HITT clicker, will not need to purchase clickers.
