Grading
|
Your grade will be determined on the basis of your
performance in the laboratory and on problem sets and weekly quizzes in
class. Equal weight will be given to the laboratory and classroom work.
In the lecture you
will have daily problem assignments and weekly quizzes. The
problem as well as reading assignments and the schedule of experiments
and quizzes are indicated in the
course
schedule. Individual experiment descriptions, problem texts as well as supplementary reading
materials are available as pdf files linked to the schedule.
Calculators are needed for quizzes and experiments. |
Quizzes and problems will have equal weight. Thus 50% of your
grade will be due to your lab grades and 25% each due to quizzes and problems.
The table below gives the worst case relation of grade to combined percentage
score.
