Concept tests and Attitudinal surveys

• Over the first weekend of the session and the weekend prior to the final exam, two optional items will be provided for completion. No credit or bonus is offered for any of these items.
• Concept test: An assessment meant to determine student understanding of electricity and magnetism concepts. The department offers this to help improve future versions of this course and its traditional equivalent. The pre-course version will be available from July 7 through July 9 and the post course version will be available from August 11 through August 13.
• Attitudinal survey: This survey is meant to assess student beliefs about learning physics. The pre-course version will be available from July 7 through July 9 and the post course version will be available from August 11 through August 13. This survey is different from the homework survey questions which do offer a participation bonus.
