*- a 1 point participation bonus will be added to the final exam score of any student taking the pre-course or post course concept. Any student participating in both will receive a total of 3 points added to the final exam score. A student participating in one, 1 point is added is added to the final exam score and if a student does not participate (or don't give a serious** effort) no bonus will be added. Additionally, a pre-and a post course survey will be offered at the same time as the two diagnostics are offered. Students fully participating in one of these surveys these surveys will receive a 1 point participation bonus added to their final exam score. Students fully participating in both surveys (pre and post) will receive 3 bonus participation points added to their final exam score.
 
**-simple submission patterns(like AAA..., or BBB...) or rapidly clicking on any response throughout the diagnostic are not considered serious efforts and no bonus will be given.
