Derived Uses of this Parts List file: - generate parts orders sent to MSU Purchasing - List of parts in a given shipment to assembly house - Parts list for cost estimates: assembly house plus MSU Final Assmb - Total assembly house parts list per card - Total assembly house parts list for a build of 22 cards - Quantity specification either: 27 bla capacitors per card 3 spools of bla capacitors total - Parts needed for Final Assembly of cards at MSU - Spare Parts: target of what we want, at MSU, shipped to CERN - Parts in the CMX design that are not placed at assembly house - Parts that are placed during final assembly at MSU - Parts in the CMX design that are not placed on the cards at all - Schizophrenic parts: MP1 socket to Assembly house, MiniPOD to us - Mechanical parts, e.g. commercial screws, or custom from M_Shop - Alternate value parts (resistors) just in case we need them - Parts for debug and test stand work, e.g. optical patch cables - Modified parts, e.g. heatsink bar stock ordered, cut up by M_Shop - Transport parts, e.g. shipping boxes, anti-static containers - CERN / L1Calo supplies parts, e.g. TTCDec, Optical Cables - As-Needed Parts, e.g. keys to force slot selection - Single Vendor parts, e.g. MiniPODs must order all forever now Separate files will deal with: - Parts by spool and by card side to program the placement machine - Parts list in numeric order to quickly find any given part - What options are there in the Mentor BOM output ? |
