Hub SN-15 Trailer Sheet 04 NOV 2019 - Begin work on SN15 per instructions found at /hardware/details/Hub_Inventory_Status_Final_Assembly/hub_msu_final_assembly.txt - Performed GND>COM/POS>COM/POS>POS resistance checks. All grounds and supplies conform to values given in instructions. - Started with mechanical preliminaries - removing runners, cutting down corners to make room for ATCA handles, etc. - Did all part remove/replace/installs. 07 NOV 2019 - Finished with initial procedure. - Installed IPMC #202. - Handle switch and initial power-up tests worked first time through. Using four layers of clear packing tape, which has almost the exact same thickness as two layers of kapton. It doesn't seem to be holding programming from session to session. I.e., if I - Program the unit; - Disconnect Vivado and close out; - Throw the handle switch; - Power down the unit; - Disconnect JTAG; - Power the unit back on; - Restart Vivado; - Connect JTAG and re-open the device; it shows up in the hardware manager as unprogrammed. * Waiting for Phillipe to come and either verify what I'm doing, or to point out what I'm doing wrong. 08 NOV 2019 - Got unit programmed; Phillipe was kind enough to point out that I wasn't doing the flash step right. * When installing the heat sink, I grabbed the one out of the box that was Dan's "practice" heat sink. It didn't have the channel cut into the side for the fiber ribbons to fit in. - Had to R&R the heat sink. Correct one installed now. - Cleaned up "practice" part and will segregate it from the rest so that this doesn't happen again. - Unit is sitting in the storage cabinet waiting for its turn in 14SS. 12 DEC 2019 - Unit was placed in the 14SS #2 and programmed using Pawel's scripts via the instructions at /hub/testing/setup/ipbus_ibert/first_version 23 DEC 2020 - Removed previously installed IPMC bypass from the handle switch. Installed 0 Ohm jumper at ocation JMP5, direct enabling IPMC control of ISO_12V. 14 APR 2020 - Powered unit up on bench to update IPMC firmware. 06 AUG 2020 - This note is to confirm that this Hub has been cleaned with G3 flux remover. See l1calo/hub/hardware/details/Hub_Inventory_Status_Final_Assembly/FluxProblemOnHubs.txt for details. 17 SEP 2020 - This note is to comfirm that this Hub has been through the component replacement process as described at the bottom of the file at the above link.
