All 5 of these cards are similar. The following is a brief description of the assembly work that is required on each card. All parts will be supplied in a kit for this assembly work. SMD = Surface Mount Device THD = Through Hole Device Term Receiver Paddle Board -------------------------- 50 boards to assemble Components on the board: 1x 160 pin ERNI connector, THD, 4 mounting screws, J1 8x 16 pin resistor network, SMD, R1:R8 2x 40 pin header connectors with latches, THD, 2 mounting screws each, J3 & J4 Note: Nothing is installed at the two 28 pin connector sites on the card that are labeled J2 and J5. Per Bunch Scaler Paddle Board ----------------------------- 80 boards to assemble Components on the board: 1x 160 pin ERNI connector, THD, 4 mounting screws, J1 Note: Nothing is installed at the 34 pin or 16 pin connector sites on the card that are labeled J2 and J3. During assembly the holes for the 34 pin connector J2 must be kept free of solder. Nothing is installed at the eight 16 pin SMD resistor network sites labeled R1:R8. Gated Scaler Paddle Board ------------------------- 50 boards to assemble Components on the board: 1x 160 pin ERNI connector, THD, 4 mounting screws, J1 8x 16 pin resistor network, SMD, R1:R8 4x 24 pin header connectors, THD, J3, J4, J5, J6 Note: Nothing is installed at the 32 pin connector site on the card that is labeled J2. During assembly the holes for this connector must be kept free of solder. Trigger Decision Module Paddle Board ------------------------------------ 30 boards to assemble Components on the board: 1x 160 pin ERNI connector, THD, 4 mounting screws, J1 4x 16 pin resistor network, SMD, R1, R2, R5, R6, 4x 16 pin header connectors, THD, J5, J6, J7, J8 Note: Nothing is installed at the 32 pin connector site on the card that is labeled J3. During assembly the holes for J3 must be kept free of solder. Nothing is installed at the 16 pin connector site on the card that is labeled J2. Nothing is installed at four of the 16 pin SMD resistor network sites labeled R3, R4, R7, and R8. Component label J4 is not used. Rear Paddle Board ----------------- 100 boards to assemble Components on the board: 1x 160 pin ERNI connector, THD, 4 mounting screws, J1 8x 16 pin resistor network, SMD, R1:R8 * Note: Nothing is installed at the four 34 pin connector sites on the card that are labeled J2, J3, J4, J5. During assembly the holes for these 4 connectors must be kept free of solder. * The eight resistor networks, labeled R1:R8, are installed on only 30 of the Rear Paddle Boards.
