Original: 20-OCT-1998 Current: 20-OCT-1998 Rear Paddle Board Assembly -------------------------- 1. Determine the slot in which the paddle board will belong and label it accordingly. 2. If the paddle board needs to be trimmed, mark the appropriate corners. Trim using a dremel tool. 3. Tighten the screws on the connector. 4. Press in the connectors. For each connector: o Verify the pin 1 location on the connector and on the board. o Note that the connector has only 32 pins, but there are 34 holes. Correctly place the connector in the board. o The connector typically moves into the board at approximately 600 psi - keep pressing until 1000 or 1100 psi is reached. 5. If necessary, trim the pins but be careful not to cut into the Y part of the pins. File down the rough edges and cover with glue. 6. Oil the pins on the newly installed connectors. 7. Assemble the stack of paddle boards using the gauge blocks to determine the appropriate spacing between the boards. Front Paddle Board Assembly --------------------------- Before using a paddle board, check the pins on the connector to be sure they are not bent.
