L2 meeting at MSU Sept 5, 1997 (Edmunds, Laurens, Linnemann) Test Stand: A test stand at MSU would consist of 2 VME for physics crates each with a worker and administrator card each with a bit3 VMEbus Adaptor with a Dual Port Memory (DPM) module The testrack's TCC at MSU will connect to the L2 Alpha crates via an intermediate VME crate, as in final system. Any additional Test-stand(s) may have its Test-TCC connect directly to its Test-L2 alpha crate(s). If the L2 alpha crates are not physically close to the L1 testracks, we may need to be connected via optical fiber, as in final system. The Testrack's TCC (or the UNIX development station) can serve as BOOTP+TFTP answerer which serves up the file to be downloaded The Testrack's TCC will (eventually) download constants/parameters/script, as in final system. The Testrack's TCC will (eventually) read and serve monitoring information, as in final system. software COOR_FAKE simulates transfer of ASCII messages like the ones generated by COOR_SIM accept interactive commands, or maybe reading a file communicates with TCC via D0IP, as will COOR could run on UNIX (as for COOR), probably also on NT Alpha Unix Workstation link, debug, maybe run COOR_SIM, maybe run COOR_FAKE
