CABLES ENTERING THE M105 TIER 2 BACKPLANE 18-SEP-1990 Add phi labels: 19-SEP-1990 Note Reference Set labelling: 9-MAR-1992 I. Overview This document describes the entrance of cables to a Tier 2 Backplane. Here it is assumed that the "order correction" takes place elsewhere, as there is absolutely no room here for that. Note that the "power supply controller box" that is normally located on top of a rack cannot be present on the top of a rack containing a Tier 2/3 Backplane. It will be suspended from the ceiling of the MCH. The cables arrive at paddleboards installed in the rear of a Tier 2 Backplane. These paddleboards are supported by nylon "stilts." II.
