CABLES ENTERING A TIER 3 BACKPLANE 18-SEP-1991 I. Overview This document describes the entrance of cables to a Tier 3 Backplane. Here it is assumed that the "order correction" takes place elsewhere, as there is absolutely no room here for that. The cables arrive in paddleboards at the rear of a Tier 3 Backplane. These paddleboards are supported by plastic "stilts" between each paddleboard. The stilts on the bottom paddleboard reach the horizontal G-10 protector panel at the bottom of the card file. II.
