PROM #4 in the Start Digitization MTG Timing Specification File Timing Specification File Revision: 16-JUNE-1992 PROM Timing Waveform Serial Number: 4M PROM 4 of the Start Digitization MTG supplies the Start Digitization signals for eight of the Trigger-Acquisition-Synchronization Cables. All numeric data in all Timing Specification Files is in decimal. The PROM pattern in this file for 6 bunch on 6 bunch operation begins at address 100 and plays through address 651. This is 6 Beam Crossing Sections of 92 "Ticks" each. The PROM pattern in this file for 4 bunch on 4 bunch operation begins at address 1100 and plays through address 1655. This is 4 Beam Crossing Sections of 139 "Ticks" each. All channels in the PROM are the same and are for making the Start Digitization signals. Recall that Start Digitization MTG Channel #1 services Geographic Section #31, and that Start Digitization MTG Channel #32 services Geographic Section #0. All Start Digitization MTG Channels are the same except for Start Digitization MTG Channel #31 which services Geographic Section #1, i.e. the L1 Trigger Framework. This PROM is for use with Start Digitization MTG Channels #25 through #32. Note that Channel #31 is special and that it connects to Geographic Sector #1 which is the L1 Framework COMINT card. Revision History: Revision M is a modification of revision L. The only change in the new revision M is that the COMINT's Start Digitization signal MTG channel #31 is now 2 ticks longer (it starts 2 ticks earlier).
