                        VME_Access Installation Notes
                          -------------------------

13-Sep-2000: 

   The Bit3 Model 983 NT Support Software V2.3 or above 
   must be installed on the PC.
        - Run the self extracting distribution (e.g. 85221831.exe for V2.3)
          This will create a number of files in your default directories
        - Run the Setup.exe file that was just created.
   
    UnZip the VME_Access_Vn.m.zip distribution archive:
        - Unzip to the root of any disc (e.g. C:\)
        - This will create a top level directory \Trics
        - This will also create \Trics\Doc
                                \Trics\Exe
                                \Trics\D0_Log

    The Executable will be created as \Trics\Exe\VME_Access_Vn.m.exe

    The documentation will be in \Trics\Doc

    Running the program will create a logfile in \Trics\D0_Log
    with a name identifying the day the executable was started,
    and the version of the executable.
    VME_ACCESS_YYYYMMDD_Vn_m.LOG;p
    e.g. VME_ACCESS_20000913_V1_0.LOG;1
