Well this is it - the personal information page of Connie R. Bednarski-Meinke. The "R" is for Rebecca. The "Meinke" was added officially on April 27, 2001. That's a start anyway. I am currently a doctoral student studying experimental condensed matter physics at Michigan State University. I came here after completing my undergraduate studies at Central Michigan University just a few miles up the road in Mount Pleasant. You can check out the CMU physics homepage, but I would also recommend a tour of the campus I like so much. After that, you can take a tour of MSU and decide for yourself which is the nicer campus.

I spent four years in Mt. Pleasant before coming to East Lansing. East Lansing is very different from Mt. Pleasant, but it has its advantages. MSU's campus is a must see if you are ever in this corner of Michigan. If you know me, you know that I am originally from Michigan. I've lived here all my life, having grown up in Goodrich, Michigan.

Don't mistake me though. I love to travel, and have a long list of places that I would still like to see in my lifetime. One place I would love to visit again is where I spent a term during my undergraduate studies - Edinburgh Scotland. The trip made a large impact on my life, and I would recommend that anyone who can ought to take the opportunity to study abroad.

What else?

Quite frankly there isn't much else at the moment. At least not anything I care to divulge in such a public forum as a webpage. If you have any questions or comments about my webpage, Michigan, my current work, or anything in general - feel free to e-mail me
