how you'll get there

There will be many sources of information for you, from lectures (important!) to books, to web pages and blogs:

Web Site, Lectures, Textbooks, Extra Material, Facebook

The Web Site

The main source of all information is the ISP220 web site. It's a blog where sometimes essays of importance will appear, but also has links to all of the content of any sort. It lives here:

http://www.chipbrock.org

Places you'll learn to go to over and over:

Lectures

The lectures are important since this is a course without a precedent. You'll need to come to class and read the lectures carefully. They will be uploaded to a server where you can download pdf files for each class. Here's the link which is a tab in the Classes page on the website:

http://www.pa.msu.edu/~brock/file_sharing/QSandBB/lectures/ In addition, this year the first approximately 6 weeks of the course will be done as videos. See the SYLLABUS for more information.
