The Web Site

The main source of all information is the ISP220 web site. It's a blog where sometimes essays of importance will appear, but also has links to all of the content of any sort. It lives here:

• SYLLABUS: the everything document
• INTRODUCTION: this document
• CALENDAR: just what it says. A calendar of class events, due dates, etc.
• DETAILS: the bare facts of the course (material summarized from this site).
• LECTURES/READINGS/HOMEWORK: the lecture topics, what you need to read for each week, the homework, and links to the lecture repository.
• PROJECTS: just like it sounds. Go here to find instructions for projects.
• FACTS: things you need to know, formulae and definitions mostly.
• GLOSSARY: um...it's a glossary.
• BANNERS: there are lots of particles, laboratories, special terms in this course. To keep track, I'll make a big, visual deal of them in lecture and repeat them here.
• WIKI: a link to the course wiki where some projects will be done.
• CHIP: There's no place like home.

Lectures

The lectures are important since this is a course without a precedent. You'll need to come to class and read the lectures carefully. They will be uploaded to a server where you can download pdf files for each class. Here's the link which is a tab in the Classes page on the website:
