Manual Rotor Switch for DK Power Supply Tests ------------------------------------------------- Initial Rev. 6-May-2025 Current Rev. 6-May-2025 The 20 position manual Rotor Switch will be used for the initial tests of the DK power supplies. This Rotor Switch setup is left over from previous projects. This Rotor Switch is basically a 2 pole 20 position switch. - The left-hand knob is labeled: 0, 11, 12, ... 19, 20. When set to "0" this switch selects the right-hand switch for the input signal pair. When set to: 11, 12, ... 19, 20 this switch selects that connector pin pair as the input signal pair. - The right-hand knob is labeled: 1, 2, ... 9, 10. When set to one of these 10 values, this switch selects that connector pin pair as the input signal pair. This switch is 2 pole so both the HI side and the LOW side of the Voltmeter that this Rotor Switch is typically used with are connected to the appropriate connector pin pair in the Power Supply Monitor Connector - J11 on the DK Board. A concern is making certain that the Voltmeter that you are using responds only to the DC value of a given power supply bus and not to any high frequency digital circuit induced noise that may be on that bus or on the associated ground pin.
