The purpose of this note is to describe all of the  Through
Hole Device  (THD)  components that the assembly vendor
needs to mount onto the Disco-Kraken circuit board.

The Disco-Kraken uses  9  types of THD components.  The
following tables lists all of the THD components, how many
of each type are used, and their reference designators.

All THD components used on the DK board mount on the TOP
side of the board.

Concerns about the THD components:
----------------------------------

 - The 2 large Polypropylene Capacitor  C1653 and C1656  need
   to be installed with a 90 degree bend in their leads so that
   they lay with their flat surface against the marked area on
   the circuit board.  These 2 capacitors will be the tallest
   components on the board.  They need to be glued down to the
   board so that vibration during use does not cause them to
   rise up above the circuit board surface.

 - 2 types of the DCDC Converters,  PTH04T230WAD  and
   PTH04T260WAD  look almost exactly alike and can plug into
   each others  hole patterns in the circuit board.  It would
   be very easy to get them mixed up during hand installation.

 - Some of the THD connectors listed above include mounting
   screws in addition to their soldered electrical terminals.
   In the parts kit we have provided mounting screws, washers,
   and nuts  so that if Hughes wants to you may mechanically
   attach these connectors to the PCB before soldering them.

 - There are 5 places where traces on the top surface of the
   pcb run out from underneath the   TRACO_TEN20_7211WIR
   DCDC Power Converter.  At the point where these 5 traces
   emerge from underneath the converter they need to be
   covered with Kapton tape to provide insulation between
   the trace and the edge of the converter.  These 5 points
   are marked in the top side silkscreen on the pcb.
