Purifier's Water Filter Element Replaced ------------------------------------------- Original Rev. 7-June-2022 Current Rev. 8-June-2022 On 7-June-2022 the water filter for the Purifier was replaced. - Immediately before the Purifier water filter replacement its cooling water pressures were: Supply 71 psi Return 70 psi - With new filter element and only the Supply valve open the pressures were: Supply 78 psi Return 79 psi - With new filter element and only the Return valve open the pressures were: Supply 70 psi Return 70 psi - With new filter element and both valves open the pressures were: Supply 76 psi Return 72 psi - Changing the water filter element for the Purifier did not change any of the pressure readings on the cooling water circuit for the Main Compressor. The Main Compressor's pressure readings immediately before and after the Purifier's water filter change were: Input to the Supply Pump: 70 psi Output from the Supply Pump: 84 psi Input to the Return Pump: 60 psi Output from the Return Pump: 73 psi So at this time there was about a 24 psi difference between the Input and Output of the Main Compressor's Heat Exchanger. The Input to the Supply Pump was about 8 psi below the static pressure in the Supply line. The Output of the Return Pump was about 3 psi above the static pressure in the Return line. - To change the Purifier's water filter the Purifier was turned Off by tapping the Off button on the right-hand side of its touch screen display. To turn the Purifier back On I just tapped the On button on the right-hand side of its touch screen display. - The Purifier was turned Off for a total of about 25 minutes. When it was turned back On it was in Mode 21 "Cooldown" with cold temperatures of 112 and 78. After about 1 minute it moved to Mode 31 "Transition to Purification". - The previous change of the Purifier's water filter was on 31-March-2022. The following is a sketch of the Purifier's history since then. This table is a sample of the daily readings taken while the Purifier is in Mode 41 normal "Steady State Production". - In the 20 hours since the Purifier's water filter replacement we have not yet collected enough recovered gas for the Purifier to actually start up again in Mode 41 "Continuous Purification" - so I have not yet seen its cold temperatures while running in Mode 41. Currently it is just waiting in Mode 42 "Low input gas pressure" waiting for some gas to purify and its cold temperatures are 132 and 57.
