Field Cage Resistor Assembly

Working with Liz we soldered resistors onto 8 corner PCBs
for the prototype ND Field Cage.  Made an assembly jig to
hold the 12 resistors on each pcb back from the edge by
100 mils per spec.  Used Pb free solder with no-cleaan flux.

The 250 Meg Ohm 5% resistors are Ohmite  MC102522506JE.

The bare PCBs are from  Mega Circuits  in Illinois are were
clearly from a normal pcb process,  i.e. not some additive
process that folks had been talking about.

Liz made a nice rational protective cardboard setup to ship
the finished boards to California.

Made a testing setup with the Dana 5900 DVM on its 10 Volt
scale loaded with a 20 Meg Ohm input resistor and one of
the Reference Supplies set to 10 Volts.  This allowed
testing of the 3 G Ohm chains with pretty good accuracy.

This PCB electrical layout more or less matches the Field
Cage schematic I made for Kendall back in June 2023.
