John French's Constellation Photos!

These are photos I took with a Nikon Coolpix 885 digital camera. I put the camera on a tripod and set the camera to the bulb setting and held the shutter open for a few seconds.

Here's the Big Dipper. The photo was taken on April 11th 2002 from my back porch.

Here is a photo of Leo the Lion. Coma Berenices is visible in the upper left.

Here is a photo of Gemini the Twins. Jupiter is the bright "star" below Castor and Pollux. The rain gutter on the house is near the bottom of the photo.
