Fluctuation-induced phenomena
Quantum fluctuations lead to new phenomena such as Casimir effect. A dynamic analog of this effect exists as well with connections to Unruh effect and Hawking radiation. We are broadly intersted in quantum diffusion and Brownian motion which are markedly different from their classical counterparts.
