Reception

Our wedding reception will take place at Jambalaya's. The restaurant serves mainly Cajun (New Orleans) and French cuisine. We will serve Brunch and hopefully some wonderful music.

The easiest way to get to Jambalaya's is with us. We would like to go in a convoy.

If you would like to stay in East Lansing over night after our reception, or maybe the day before so you don't have to get up so early, there are many hotels available in the Lansing/East Lansing area. What follows is a list of hotels that are reasonably close.

• Mariott: The Mariott is in downtown East Lansing and within walking distance of the chapel. We negotiated a special rate of $105/night for our guests. Please mention the Bednarski/Meinke wedding when booking.
  This rate is valid for up to four people. Parking is extra.
• University Quality Inn: Just off I127 the Quality Inn is a little further from the chapel but it is a very short drive. Their Internet rate was $71.50 and it includes full breakfast.
  We still need to get in touch with the responsible person for group bookings to try for a better rate.
• Ramada InnThe Ramada Inn is right off the Trowbridge exit of I127/I496. It offered the lowest rate $60 for 1 and two people, $8 for each additional person.
