Meszaros Pennsylvania State University Abstract: After a brief review of the phenomenology of gamma-ray burst sources, I discuss the theoretical ideas used to interpret them, and in particular the fireball shock scenario and its implications for the MeV emission and the X-ray, optical and radio afterglows. I then describe the prospects for GeV-TeV photon detections, and for GeV-PeV neutrino detection.
