Run pdfgetx2 to invoke the program from terminals. Also
make sure the executable directory is included in your PATH variable.
You can also give one PDFgetX2 history file as an argument from the
command line, and the history file will be automatically loaded. The
directory where you start the program will become the Working
Directory.
If you installed the PDFgetX2 with the self-installer, a shortcut
will be created on your desktop, and the extension .xhst is
associated with program PDFgetX2. Double click on the desktop
shortcut or on any *.xhst file will invoke the program. The
double clicked history file will be automatically loaded, and its
directory will become the Working Directory.
If none of the above works for you, you may have to go to the
installation directory, and click on pdfgetx2.sav to fire it
up. If you want to run it from command-line, you may try this:
idl -vm=[the full path]pdfgetx2.sav.
