I am a graduate student in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Michigan State University. My research area is the computer simulation of polymers and polymeric nanoparticles.

Simulation of Polymers

To make it easier to run large scale simulations on clusters using LAMMPS, I have developed a software package Polypy. The Polypy project is managed by Trac.

The features of the Polypy software are:

  • Managing batch job, automatically generating input and configuration files.
  • Creating the initial configuration for polymers.
  • Computing various properties of polymers based on the snapshot files dumped by LAMMPS.
  • Organizing and ploting data in the multidimentional manner.
  • Assiting the 3D visulization of polymers by VMD
  • The Polypy page contains the news, the subversion repository.
