2. Installation

2.1 How to obtain SmaGL

You can download the current snapshot from my web page.

2.2 Requirements

SmaGL is not using any special libraries and should compile on any Unix or Unix like operating system. It has been tested on Linux (SuSE 6.1, RedHat 6.0), Solaris 2.6 and 7 and Digital Unix.

2.3 Compilation and installation

In order to compile and install SmaGL on your system, type the following in the base directory of the SmaGL distribution:

% ./configure
% make
% make install

Since SmaGL uses

autoconf
you should have not trouble compiling it. Should you run into problems please report them to the the author at Jan H. Meinke
