QC2: Verify fiber lengths and sorting

Check all WLS fibers:
  • Compare the lengths of fibers to the templates.
  • Count the number of fibers in sequence with the same length , compare with length chart
    •  Insert the light source in the source tube:
  • Verify that the fibers have been sorted into the correct depth group.
  • Check any fibers that give abnormally low light.
    •  Repair or replace any problem fibers or profiles.

    Sign and date the check sheet.

    Report any serious or recurrent problems.
