At the James B. Henry Center For Executive Development at
Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI. Workshop Organizers:
Brian O'Shea (MSU/P&A) The purpose of this workshop is to define the JINA collaboration's role in developing models of galactic chemical evolution, given the requirements and constraints produced as a result of existing and future observational databases. This workshop will focus on determining what the current theoretical, observational, and experimental limiting factors are in our understanding of galactic chemical evolution in the Local Group of galaxies, and what JINA can uniquely contribute to making progress in this field. This workshop will primarily involve members of the JINA collaboration, but we will also invite select non-JINA scientists to attend and give talks.
