We have plans to actively contact the community in two ways:

PI Survey.
We have prepared a web-based survey which concentrates on matters of concern to both theorists and experimentalists. We hope it will take no more than a few minutes and will be sent directly to PI's of DOE and NSF grants within a month or so. The message of introduction to your PI will include a link to a second, less quantitative questionaire for anyone (and everyone!) and a request to forward it to group members. It is also linked to this website as "take a survey."

Direct calls.
We are considering initiating a set of telephone conversations with faculty representing "large, medium, and small" grants. This process will occur after the new year.
