I spend an awful lot of time with computers. Not just at work but also at home as a hobby. However that is not all I do. I love to read, I enjoy dancing, walks, bike rides and many other things. On this page I put some links that relate to those different activities. ComputerAs I just said I like playing around with computers. I enjoy programming with Java and currently I am also playing around with Python a little bit. 3d imaging always fascinated me. Blender offers a very powerful environment for creating 3d animations and pictures. And you can't beat the price. Another popular package is POV-Ray which produces stunning images using ray tracing. Even without the third dimension the manipulation of images just fun. GIMP doesn't need much introduction in the Unix/Linux world. It is a great piece of Open Source software. As with every complex program, it is important to have good documentation. Try Grokking the GIMP for a nice book on the topic. |
