ANNOUNCEMENTS: Upcoming Quiz Dates:
Friday, Sep. 7 TEXT BOOK: No book required, you might try:
Claude Itzykson and Jean-Bernard Zuber, Quantum Field Theory or
Michael Peskin and Daniel Schroeder, An Introduction to Quantum Field Theory.
The first book is outstanding as a reference, but difficult to learn
from. The second is the opposite (or so I hear -- I haven't used it
before). Lecture notes will be provided, which might be good for a
first read, which could then be followed with I&Z book as a
reference. Both books are available on Amazon.com. LECTURE NOTES:
Posted lecture notes are not meant to be a full replacement for textbook.
Beware!!! These are living documents and will change without notice. GRADING WEIGHTS:
Homework (due nearly every Friday at the beginning of class): 0%
Writing Solutions to HW: 10%
